For the gourmet who has everything, nothing beats the freshness of homegrown mushrooms. Keystone Homebrew has ready-to-grow mushroom kits in stock now for a limited time, and in very limited quantities! Each kit comes with easy-to-follow instructions and will produce delicious mushrooms in as little as 2 to 3 weeks. We have the following kits in stock for all of you last-minute Christmas shoppers and delinquent Hanukkah shoppers:

Shiitake $30
Blue Oyster $28
Pearl Oyster $28
Espresso Oyster $28 (Montgomeryville only)

These 12 ounce beer bottles are a striking blue with a white Nittany Lion paw screen printed onto the glass. A must-have for any Penn State fan! This is a one-time only deal, at a special price while supplies last. Don’t miss out! They can add distinction to your next batch of homebrew, they make great gifts, and they are sure to be a huge hit at tailgate parties. $8.95 per case of 24 bottles.

Apple brandy barrels are back! They are empty (unfortunately), but they will impart an extraordinary character to your beer, wine or cider. Aging your fermented beverage in one of these barrels for a few months or more will lend unique flavors from both the oak and the apple brandy that used to live in it. Last year we used these barrels to brew a Belgian Golden Strong Ale, which proved to be one of our most popular and tastiest barrel brews to date. The barrels are approximately 53 gallons (great for group brews and club events), and sell for $145 each. See below for other great uses for barrels, too.

TWICE-USED BARRELS (Montgomeryville Only)
These barrels are no longer recommended for fermentation, but they look great under a Christmas tree! Besides being decorative, a barrel makes a great table or rain water collector, or can be cut in half to make 2 planters (great for hop rhizomes). And the price is right! Only $50 per barrel 4 in stock. Call ahead to reserve one and let us know when you plan to pick it up.

We wish everyone a happy holiday, and remember to look for a special email announcement on Christmas Eve.

Shop on!
