This 10 inch glass hydrometer was specifically designed for extra-accurate measurement of finishing gravity. If you're particular about your final gravity, or want to be sure your fermentation has stopped before bottling, this could be your new friend. It's easy to see 1 degree differences in specific gravity in the small range of 0.990 (lighter than water, good for super-attenuated beers or meads) to 1.020 (at the high end for super-thick barley wines).
