The rhizomes have arrived, and are ready to be planted! We have extras of most varieties available at both stores, so you can start growing your very own hop garden even if you didn’t pre-order. WINEMAKING CLASSES
The following classes are taught by Dave Salaba, our U.C. Davis-certified winemaking guru. There is still space in each, but they’re filling up so call now to reserve your spot!

Introduction to Winemaking
4/22 or 4/29 (two separate classes)
Starts at Keystone Homebrew, Montgomeryville at 6:30 PM
$75 per person (payable in advance)
This is a great class for the novice winemaker, or for anyone looking to enhance their grasp of the fundamentals. Class topics include: equipment, grape selection, sanitization, fermentation procedures, testing and troubleshooting.

Wine & Must Analysis
5/13, 7:00 PM
Studio M Foods (near our Montgomeryville store)
$125 per person (payable in advance)
This class will provide hands-on experience testing for sugar, acidity, pH, and sulfites, and will examine how and when to make adjustments. Attendees will learn the proper use of hydrometers, refractometers, acid titrators, pH meters, sulfite titrites, and various Accuvin tests.

ALL-GRAIN BREWING CLASS

KEYSTONE HOPS MEETING
Montgomeryville, Thursday, April 16, 7:00 PM Join us for this month’s homebrew club meeting; we’ll be holding the ever-popular raffle of the remaining War of the Worts prizes. There are sure to be some quality homebrews flowing as well!
