SOUTH AMERICAN GRAPES
We heard through the grapevine (sorry) that our shipment from Argentina will be arriving around the end of next week (April 24) or the beginning of the following week. If you’ve placed an order, we’ll keep you up-to-date with any new information, and of course we’ll call you as soon as they arrive.
WINE TASTINGS
For those of you who love wine tastings, we have three coming up this Spring: Montgomeryville: Sunday, April 26, 2:00 to 5:00 PM
Montgomeryville: Friday, May 22, 5:30 to 8:30 PM
Bethlehem: Sunday, June 7, 2:00 to 5:00 PM
Remember: anyone who brings a bottle of homemade wine receives a $5.00 coupon to our store!
BIG BREW
Montgomeryville: Saturday, May 2 (National Homebrew Day)
Bethlehem: Saturday, May 9 (at the Becker family farm; call us for directions)
Bring your equipment, and brew outside with us and fellow homebrewers at one of these great events. Or just come and watch! We’ll provide hotdogs and hamburgers. FROZEN BERRIES
We’re taking orders now for frozen local berries from Elwer Farms, perfect for making fruit wine or beer (not to mention desserts, etc.). Order by Friday, May 1: http://www.keystonehomebrew.com/index.cfm?pgid=events#target66 The berries are scheduled to arrive May 8.
Red Raspberries: $5.00 per quart (about 0.8lbs)
Elderberries: $17.50 for 3 quarts (about 3lbs)
REMINDER: Tomorrow night (Thursday, April 16, 7:00 PM) we’ll be hosting the Keystone Hops Homebrew Club meeting in Montgomeryville. Everyone is welcome, and we’ll be raffling off all the remaining War of the Worts prizes.
