War of the Worts Entry Deadline
The entry deadline for War of the Worts is fast approaching, it’s this Saturday February 7th. Goto the club’s website to get your entry forms http://www.keystonehops.org/wotw/ . Don’t forget to write in your club name for the Keystone Cup. Also new this year will be the establishment of an Eastern Pennsylvania Homebrewer of the Year. Look for details soon.

War of the Worts Judges
If you are a BJCP judge we want you! Go to http://www.fofa.org/WotW/judgereg.php, register, and join in the fun. All our steward positions have been filled, thanks to everyone who already signed up.

Keystone Hops Club Meeting: Thursday February 19
Come help us organize the War of the Worts entries and load them into the cooler at Iron Hill. Oh yeah, and bring some homebrew!

Apple Brandy Barrels
We are due to receive a fresh supply of recently emptied Apple Brandy barrels. These barrels can be used for fermenting or aging beer or wine which will pickup some of the apple brandy flavor imbued in the wood. (We used them with great success for our Fall big brew in Montgomeryville.) Additionally these barrels make great decorative pieces, rain water collectors, tables, planters (great for rhizomes, get 2 from each barrel), shoot fish in them, fancy trash can, add suspenders and wear it, keep your pet monkeys, you get the idea.
