Philly Beer Week has started with a bang! Your favorite homebrew shop has attended two beer festivals already: the Opening Tap last night, and the Philly Craft Beer Fest — where we are pouring homebrews at this very instant. We want to see you at all of our upcoming events this week, so we’re sending this handy Keystone PBW guide: KEYSTONE IS EVERYWHERE (.KisE.) CHALLENGE
The KisE Challenge is officially underway! This is a fun, week-long digital scavenger hunt that provides many opportunities to meet brewers and can make you $200 richer. Check www.keystonehomebrew.com for details.

BEER SCHOOL: YEAST Monday, 3/9, 7:00 PM
Iron Hill, North Wales (www.ironhillbrewery.com) Yeast are the tiny organisms that convert sugars into alcohol during fermentation, for which we are exceedingly grateful. They can also have a tremendous impact on the character of a beer! Find out how in this one-our class, which will include a tasting of 5 unique beers and light snacks. The cost is $25 per person; call Keystone Homebrew Supply in advance to ensure we have a spot for you.

BREWING CLASSES
We’re running two brewing classes for Philly Beer Week: the Introduction to Brewing on Thursday, 3/12 for beginners and the “Next Step” Brewing Class on Wednesday, March 11 for anyone looking to start using specialty grains, fresh hops, etc. Each class starts at 7:00 PM at Studio M Foods near our Montgomeryville store, and costs $40 per person. There are still spots available for both dates, so call today!

PHILLY BEER GEEK Thursday, 3/12, 8:00 PM
Manayunk Brewery and Restaurant (www.manayunkbrewery.com) Watch the biggest beer geeks in the region compete for a $1,000 grand prize! Visit www.phillybeergeek.com for details.
