New Selection Wine Kits – with Skins!

LIMITED EDITION WINE KITS FROM WINEXPERT
Winexpert has revealed an enticing lineup of Limited Edition wine kits for 2011 and we are now taking orders. Each year, Winexpert seeks out premier vineyards from around the world whose grapes are available in small quantities only (as the best grapes often are). Therefore these grapes cannot be used to produce “stock” wine kits, but they are available as part of the Limited Edition program for you to make some unique and extraordinary wines!

We’ve listed the 2011 Limited Edition kits below, along with the month (in 2012) that each one is scheduled to be available at our stores. Much more detail is available about each wine kit, and the region it comes from, on our website: https://www.keystonehomebrew.com/2011/10/2011-limited-edition-wine-kits-from-winexpert/

Washington Meritage – January
South African Sauvignon Blanc/Semillon – January
California Petite Sirah/Zinfandel – February
German Traminer/Spatlese – March
Spanish Matador Trio Red (Tempranillo/Cabernet Sauvignon/Monastrell) – April

WE STRONGLY ENCOURAGE PREORDERS, as popular varieties can sell out before they even reach our stores. Plus, if you preorder multiple kits you will receive a discount as follows:
Order 2 Kits: Save $3 on Each
Order 3 Kits: Save $5 on Each
Order 4 Kits: Save $8 on Each
Order 5 or More: Save $10 on Each!
For purposes of determining your discount, we will combine your Winexpert order with your upcoming order for RJ Spagnols Restricted Quantity kits (same idea, different brand), which are yet to be announced. The deadline to preorder Winexpert kits is Sunday, December 4. After that date, we can take your order while supplies last, but the volume discount will not be available. Order by phone or online:

A TALK WITH TIM
This is a great opportunity to taste some unique wines, which will serve as a preview for the 2011 Limited Edition selections (see above). It’s also one of our biggest and most important events of the year for winemakers! Winexpert’s wine expert, Tim Vandegrift, will explain everything you’ve ever wanted to know about wine kits, and will highlight this year’s Limited Edition series. There will be numerous prizes given out and five wines to taste, paired with foods selected to accentuate their respective flavors. THE EVENT IS FREE and there is enough space for everyone (at our new store in Montgomeryville, of course). Seating is limited, though, so contact us in advance if you don’t want to stand! You can reply to this email or call our Montgomeryville store at (215) 855-0100 to reserve a seat.

NEW SELECTION INTERNATIONAL WINE KITS – WITH SKINS!
Selection International wine kits from Winexpert are very popular, allowing winemakers to choose high quality varietals from around the world. Now Winexpert has raised the stakes with the addition of processed grape skins to select kits. You may remember their “Crushendo” wines – wine kits of the highest quality, but ones that required extended cellaring to even approach their true potential. Well, who has the time (or patience!) for extended cellaring? Winexpert has thus worked hard to develop a process that removes most of the short-chain (harsh) tannins from grape skins, leaving behind the smooth, mouth-filling tannins and desirable flavors. These skins are now included exclusively in four new Selection International wine kits: Australian Petite Verdot, Spanish Tempranillo, Sicilian Nero D’Avola and Chilean Malbec Shiraz. These kits exhibit bolder flavors, richer color, and enhanced aromas and tannins compared with their skinless counterparts. The wines will drink very well within a few months, and will improve on the same scale as regular Selection International kits: 6-12 months to achieve excellent flavor, and potential improvement for up to three years. Each kit includes 30 bottle labels, and sells for $149.99.
