Born in the 1970s Super Tuscans were a ground breaking blend of traditional Tuscan grapes, like Sangiovese, blended with traditional Bordeaux grapes, like Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot. The result is a very classic but non-traditional wine that provided the “wow factor. Loaded with ripe red cherry, blackberry, and juicy plum, complemented with vanilla and spice notes. Rich and smooth with velvety tannins.
