Berliner Weisse is a very unique German-style wheat beer with refreshing tartness and relatively high acidity. Normally, a dual fermentation, with lactic acid producing bacteria is employed to provide the additional acidity and tartness. Our take on the style is an old homebrew technique of adding lactic acid to the finished beer. You’ll get all the flavor without the usual 3-6 months of aging!
