Winemaking Classes

A little education can turn a casual hobby into a truly rewarding one. We offer a variety of entertaining and interactive classes to help enhance your winemaking experience. We set dates for our popular classes from time to time throughout the year – you can see upcoming dates listed in red below. You can elect to recieve our email updates to receive prompt notice for future classes, or check the class schedule on our website and reserve your spot online. Here are some of the winemaking classes we offer:

Introduction to Winemaking from Grapes
Montgomeryville: Sunday, September 24, 1:00pm
Bethlehem: Sunday, October 1, 1:00pm
We start with the basics, but we cover a lot of ground in this supercharged intro class! You’ll learn about best practices in modern winemaking, equipment, grape selection, and sanitation…plus analysis and adjustment of sugar acid, pH, and sulfites in your must and wine. (Wine anaylsis used to be covered in a separate class, but now we’ve combined them to create the ultimate class for amateur winemakers.) $99 per person and $155 for a pair.

Wine and Cheese Combo Class
Montgomeryville:Stay Tuned for a Late Fall / Early Winter Class
Our friends from Stone & Key Cellars will give you a live demonstration of mozzarella making, and will guide you through a hands-on personal winemaking session using one of our easy 1-gallon wine kits. While that’s all happening, you’ll be served an array of homemade goodies from our cheesemaker and a flight of wine from Stone & Key Cellars. At the end of the class, you’ll go home with a satisfied palate, a gallon of fermenting wine (six varietals to choose from), and all the equipment and knowhow you’ll need to recreate this magical evening over and over again! It’s all included in the price…$150 per person. For just $25 more, you can bring a friend.

Making Great Wine from Kits
No dates scheduled at this time. Check out our Wine & Cheese Combo class!
Learn how fun and easy making wine can be! We offer a huge selection of wine kits featuring wine styles from all over the world. You can get the fermentation started in less time than it would take you to drive to the liquor store, and you can bottle your finished wine in as little as 4 weeks. In this class we show step-by-step how to turn these kits into wine that you will be proud to share with your family and friends.
