BOURBON BARREL BREW IN MONTGOMERYVILLE
Sunday, October 31
Join us in Montgomeryville on Halloween (costumes optional) for a group “big brew” of an Imperial Chocolate Pumpkin Porter. The recipe, now available on our website, is based on a unique and amazing oak-aged beer by Midnight Sun Brewing (available only in Alaska and on the West Coast). Base grains, specialty grains, extract and hops are all available at Keystone Homebrew Supply in Montgomeryville. The recipe also includes pumpkin, cacao nibs, cinnamon, nutmeg and allspice, all of which will be included in a Common Ingredients Pack for $10. (The Common Ingredients Pack must be purchased from Keystone Homebrew Supply in Montgomeryville for everyone participating in the Bourbon Barrel Brew.) Water will be available on the day of the event, and Keystone Homebrew Supply will produce a yeast starter to pitch directly into each of the barrels.

If you want to participate in this event, you must sign up in advance (if you haven’t already, just reply to this email). Space in the barrels is reserved on a first come, first served basis, and is limited to 5.5 gallons per brewer. There will be a Barrel Participation Fee of $20 per 5.5 gallon batch, which covers the cost of the barrels (ingredients are sold separately). Check out our website for the recipe and more details about the event:
