FRESH GRAPES AND JUICE: GOING FAST!
UPCOMING EVENTS

PREMIUM GRAPE UPDATE The first wave of premium grapes are on their way!

Washington State Merlot – the first grapes from Washington are picked and ready to ship. This is a couple weeks earlier than last year. The reports are good for ripeness and taste. We were excited to receive these amazing numbers for the Merlot just before picking: 25.0 brix 3.43pH and 0.69TA. The Merlot grapes (and the Cabernet Sauvignon) are grown on a ranch near Quincy WA, overlooking the Columbia river. The American Viticulture Area is know as Columbia Valley. After last year’s ravings from happy winemakers we increased our contract and still have some of these grapes available for sale. We expect delivery around October 1st.

Lake County Zinfandel (Organic) and Sangiovese – These fine grapes are being picked as we speak. We expect them to arrive before next weekend. We ordered the Organic Zinfandel especially for you tree huggers, like us, so join Jason (if his kid doesn’t get here first) and Lou in making organic wine this year, and we’ll compare notes at a future wine tasting. Not all of these grapes have been reserved yet, so order some now and make some premium wine next weekend!

Alternatively, if you want the easy way to stay environmentally conscientious, we have organic Syrah juice in stock right now.

OLIVES
All the olive munchers have ordered en mass, and all but 1 bag of Manzanilla have been reserved. Olives should be arriving this Sunday along with some extra juice.

FRESH GRAPES AND JUICE: GOING FAST!
If you can believe it, our last truck of grapes and juice from the central valley is leaving California on Monday, and it is filled to the gills with juice and grapes. Don’t miss out on your chance to make wine this fall, and order before it’s all gone. You can still use our on-line order form, or better yet, give us a call to see what’s left. www.keystonehomebrew.com/index.cfm?pgid=wine2009A
